I have spent the past ten years professionally designing
and developing websites and applications for local businesses here in
Victoria. With my time largely spent inside source code of
other businesses -- I decided recently to shift that trend,
and develop a presence for myself online. One that
highlights those very hours of source code.
With websites growing into the larger calling card for new
business, it's a fun challenge as a developer to build on a
companies corporate brand, and expand it through a strong and
professional web presence.
The Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Arts (LAAFA) needed a online
source for managing, importing, editing and printing comprehensive
digital academic breakdowns of each student and their final GPA
(grade point average) scores. The online breakdown assisted academy
administrators in reviewing and later printing student transcript
records for graduation.
